Using it wrong??? Help

Hello lovely ladies, I am a teen and a new cup user. Over my last few periods I have been trying the cup out. However it’s leaking I’m not sure if I’m inserting it wrong or if it’s just me. Any advice or tips and tricks would seriously help.

Is it a lot or just a little bit?
If it’s a lot (like the cup isn’t catching properly) then it’s possible your could have pushed the cup past your cervix. Check to see where your cervix is and make sure the cup is below it.
If it’s only a little then it could be just from changing the cup. Ik sometimes, especially when I’m heavy, when I empty my cup blood will then get past where the cup sits. Then after putting it back in this extra blood will come out as spotting. Usually if I can a quick rinse or using a wet wipe after changing the cup helps clean that up.
