Cyclical Cramps with IUD

I got my mirena inserted 6 months ago and have been dealing with irregular bleeding and spotting for almost the whole time. I haven’t had many cramps except for around the same time each month, and they are only on the right side of my uterus. Before getting mirena I would have more cramps on the right side as well, however these are very cyclical and more severe.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve been to the dr a few times since insertion and even had an ultra sound and they said everything looks good so I’m not necessarily concerned, just hoping I’m not alone!
