My SIL is due with her first baby in Early Feb, and this morning my MIL sent out a message saying that a flu shot is required (by the doctors and by the parents to be) to visit the baby.

Now if the parents want us to have flu shot, I can see that.

But I have NEVER heard of a hospital requiring a flu shot. I’ve had 2 kids and am pregnant with my 3rd and been through 5 nieces and nephews (present for all births). So this would be news to me.

Like how would they even know whether or not we got one? It’s not like it’s on a shot record 🤔.
