Yeast Infection AND UTI?

I went to the doctors yesterday bc I figured I had a UTI from my burning urination, nbd I guess. I got antibiotics, but along with that, my vulva has been extremely itchy. I have the urge to violently scratch it right at the opening. I typically have discharge every day, the texture hasn’t changed. Is this most likely a yeast infection? How can I be sure without going to urgent care again?

It’s very possible. I would go back to the doctors as they would be able to tell you if it is a yeast infection. Don’t forget to finish your course of antibiotics even if you do have a yeast infection!

If you're taking antibiotics without taking probiotics with them, then yes you can very well have a yest infection. A good doctor is supposed to prescribe both or at least tell you to take probiotics.

Do you have any unusual odor down there or different in color discharge? If no, then it’s possible it may just be an irritation to something, like shaving, different pads/tampons, Laundry detergent, etc..
