I gave birth on December 4th 2018

I gave birth on December 4th 2018. I was a high-risk pregnancy who suffered with hypertension and gestational diabetes. Due to my high risk pregnancy I had to be infuced and that was very painful I ended up getting an epidural which went wrong because it only went to the left side of my body and I felt all the contractions on the right side of my body. During the delivery there were some complications.My baby's suffered with a condition called shoulder dystocia. It's a condition that causes the babys shoulders to be disportionally bigger than the head. This usually happens to Women who have gestational diabetes or diabetes. As a result one of his shoulders were not moving and now he's undergoing further testing.I thank God that he is alive and well and he's a beautiful baby and I thank God for my doctors who acted fast to induce me because of how dangerous my pregnancy was. I'm urging all women who are trying to conceive, please make sure that you are healthy before conceiving a baby. It matters for you and it matters for your child.
