Just gotta tell someone

My husband and I got married under the pretense that neither of us wanted kids. Our families would ask us repeatedly when we were going to start a family and we would repeatedly tell them it wasn't something we were interested in. I know that I've broken our parents hearts because of this, but eventually, after so many years, they stopped asking.

We've been married 10 years now and after a long, heartfelt, intense, stressful talk last week we've finally decided that it's time. We're TTC. I know that it's unlikely to happen right away, but I'm anxious now to get pregnant because I can't wait to see the look on my mom's face when I tell her. Cross your fingers for me, ladies.
