Anyone a makeup artist?

I currently work in the cosmetic industry at a high end makeup counter and have years of experience. I also went to cosmetology school and have a bachelors degree in marketing. I’m seriously considering becoming a freelance makeup artist to allow myself a more open schedule. The only thing holding me back is of course the money issue. I need a set amount of money per month to pay my bills and take care of my son.

Anyone on here doing that or have any tips business wise? I’m researching the idea right now and if I’m still feeling confident in the idea I’m going to start taking clients in the new year!
