Sinus infection while pregnant?

I just got a bad sinus infection last night and it’s progressed a lot overnight. The whole right side of my face is just throbbing! I don’t really want to take antibiotics because I’m scared they’re harm baby. Anyone able to get over sinus infections naturally?

Just take the antibiotics. It’ll take like a month to clear up instead of a week lol

I had 4 sinus infections with my daughter....I would boil a pot of water with eucalyptus oil and cover my head with my robe to get the steam all in my face.  It loosened up SOmuch green mucus.

I take Sudafed, Tylenol & Benadryl to reduce the pain & swelling but I have to wait another week before they’ll give me antibiotics. Not 12 weeks yet. It hurts, my head hurts & part of my face is swollen (nah it’s not a dental abscess coz I don’t have any teeth anymore. They pulled 6 & I told them to pull all of them so I never had to deal again) but until I hit 12 weeks, I’m SOL. 😓😥

You can take Sudafed (not phenylephrine!!) if you are in your second/third trimester. I had to cave and take one today. Was fighting it but my whole face is so inflamed and painful and I have the worst sore throat from all the mucous. Sudafed and Tylenol are safe. Once it progresses to a cough, which is inevitable, I will start taking robitussin. Feel better!!

Try laying on a heating pad or hot water bottle ,it helped me when i had it ,along woth taking Sudafed and Tylenol ,not perfect tho. Mine made my teeth hurt to the point i was ready to pull them out with pliers (wouldn't have done any good but it hurt that bad)
