So me and my husband decided not to share my pregnancy with anybody. We wanted to keep it to ourselves and my parents since I’ve had too many difficulties. I’m almost 35 weeks and my husband and I agree that we are finally comfortable announcing that I’m pregnant. Is it too late to announce or should we continue to keep it to ourselves until the baby is born?

For anybody wanting to know how I kept it secret this long it’s really not that hard. I was dedicated to staying home and only going to the grocery store for the things we need. We never see family since my dad’s side doesn’t associate with us and my mom’s side lives thousands of miles away. My husband’s family doesn’t associate with us unless it’s Christmas and even then it’s only to see him and our daughter. (They hate me because of my husband’s choices to leave home so we could live together alone.) So nobody would have a clue I was pregnant or had a child unless I shared it with them. What should I do? Announce pregnancy or birth?
