First Timer with Clomid

If we don’t get pregnant this cycle, my fertility specialist says the next step for my next cycle is to start Clomid. She walked me through it and everything and I’m hoping it won’t be necessary because I will get my BFP this month (🤞🏻🤞🏻) - BUT in the off chance we don’t get pregnant this cycle..... any tips for a first time Clomid user? Any success stories? Difficulties? Feel free to share the good, bad and ugly in your experience.
