Teen mom birth story🤱👶💖 (a long overdue birth story)
When I got a positive pregnancy test last November I was shocked because I was only 17 and a junior in high school and I knew that my life would be changing forever, but I was also happy at the same time. I had butterflies because i knew that i had to tell my mom, but she reacted the exact opposite that I thought. She was excited because I was carrying her first grandchild and she has had baby fever for the past 6 years but couldnt have anymore kids (she had a hysterectomy because of a tumor)... my first ob appointment was so emotional for me because I got to see my little bean for the first time and hear the heartbeat!.. my entire pregnancy was exhausting because my feet and legs were always swollen and it would hurt to walk and stand and I had heartburn everyday until she was born. I couldnt fit in any of my shoes or clothes and I was an emotional wreck But the best part was that I had her in my belly kicking, moving around and getting the hiccups every once in a while and hearing her heart beat made me happy... the day I was going to get induced (august 1st) my doctor checked my cervix and I was at a 1 so he went to put the dilipan into my cervix and accidentally broke my water so I went home got my bags and drove a long 45 minutes to the hospital. When I arrived to the hospital a nurse checked my cervix and i was still at a 1 and I wasnt having any contractions so they put me on pitocin to start them up. About 4 hours after being at the hospital I asked for the epidural because I was scared that I was going to be in pain. So after getting the epidural I slept the rest of the night at the hospital. The next morning the nurse checked me again and I was only at a 3, so they started flipping me from side to side every hour and I eventually got to a 5. My ob comes into the room and checks my cervix and says "I think that there might be another bag of water?" So the nurse checks and says yeah there i another bag! So they rupture my 2nd bag of water and within 2 hours I was at a 9 and ready to push. After 15 minutes of pushing and an episiotomy my daughter 💖khloé Gabriella coday💖 was born at 11:54am on August 2nd, 2018. Weighing 7lbs 14oz and 22 inches long. Gestational age (42 weeks)
