Would you feel comfortable traveling at 35 weeks?
So my husband is finishing up a certification class about 4 hours from where we live. I have been traveling back and forth with him for the 4 months and staying with my parents. Next week I will be 35 weeks and have an appointment on Monday. I will have to drive by myself for the 4 hours. Now I don’t have any concerns as of right now. No loss of fluids or plug , no strong pressure or constant need to pee, no strong or consistent contractions, no indication at all that I will go early. My husband is concerned about me driving by myself. However, I would rather risk the drive than stay that week and risk my husband not even being there for the labor. I would like to be present for his graduation. What do y’all think?
I will have our bags with us and car seat installed only as a precaution. I’m going to ask my dr again but she knew this the whole time and said it would be fine. Will she do a cervical check at the appointment? Would that help ease any worry? Also this is my first baby and zero complications so far. I’ve been blessed! Thanks!
