Milk quality?

I normally dont pump but I've been trying to power pump to try and up my supply and I noticed that the " milk" on my left breast isnt really milk. It's more like cloudy water. The one on my right is definitely milk. Why is there such a difference? What can I do to fix it? Do other moms deal with this?

A lot of it depends on the time in between eating/pumping. Your foremilk has less fat. If it’s been awhile since that side was used, the milk that first comes out won’t be very fatty. The sooner you pump after, the fattier the milk. Once you get to the hind milk, it should be fatty. There’s no difference in the quality of the milk, just baby is going to get fuller faster on fat than water.

When I pumped I usually combine the milk together so that it all evened out. Sometimes our diet changes the consistency if it’s more watery or thicker
