Any one else expecting a big baby?!

Had a growth scan today and she is measuring a pound over. Currently 29 weeks and she weighs 3 lbs 6 ounces. She is expected to be over 9 pounds 😳😳😳

At my 30 week mine was 3lb 15oz.  Dr said he is right on track to be 9lbs+.  Due to this, and how his legs are currently, I opted for csection, not only to protect myself from complications(2nd and 3rd degree tearing is the main concern) but to avoid any complications with him(getting stuck and having to do emergency csection).

My 30 weeker was 3 lbs 14oz. Measuring 2 weeks ahead. But they are doing a csection at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia,  so she won't be as big as she would full term.

I agree that estimates can be off. My son was 9lbs 6 oz and they were estimating only 6.5 pounds. We induced my daughter right at 40 weeks because they estimated she was 9 pounds and she came out an easy 7 lbs 9 oz. this baby is measuring big but I’ll believe it when I see it!

Those weight estimates can be WAY off. They're not actually weighing baby, they're measuring and then assuming. I wouldn't worry too much.

My baby is in the 40 percentile at the moment. I think he’ll be average. I’m hoping for average size.

85th percentile for weight. 95th percentile for height.

Both of my babies were over 9 pounds so I expect this one to be at least 9 pounds as well

Yup! My little dude at 28 w 4 days was 3 lb 11 Oz. Gonna beat his brother if he goes 40 weeks. 😝💙🤪
