Where the good men??

The only thing that gets me down about communities like this is the constant stream of posts about trash men and the crap they get away with.

I don't think it's the lack of I believe it's us ladies who have the good ones don't have much to conplain about . And what we do have to complain about we generally wouldn't post on line An make our other half sound like crap or god for bid they see it on here some how An makes them feel like shit. My husband is one of the good ones an even then some days we have not so good days but I won't post it about here I  got to him with my issues with him

I’m totally with you! These posts make me (and my husband) so sad. 
We have open communication for everything and discuss all decisions together. Neither of us work full time (he’s PhD student and I work for an Ivy League school with benefits at part time,) so we spend tons of time together doing whatever, or our own thing.
We take the time to listen to each other and understand things that are important. I go to bed on my own most nights bc he stays up playing video games-but I know that time is important to him so I try not to complain. On the flip side, I asked if he would abstain from porn while I was in my third trimester bc it made me feel weird in that specific circumstance- and he agreed instantly, totally agreeing and saying he understood where that feeling came from. And I can take comfort in his response because I know he wouldn’t lie- even if saying no hurt my feelings. We trust each other 100%.
He’s so excited to be a dad- and he’s going to kind of get to be a stay at home dad too! It’s really all he’s ever wanted. For the next two years while he finishes his dissertation, I’ll be back at work part time, and he’ll be home reading, writing, and taking care of our child. 
This app makes me feel so incredibly lucky to have such a loving, communicative, open and devoted husband. It also makes me sad bc he should be the norm. 
I guess he could volunteer to cook dinner more often, but hey- nobody’s perfect 😉

My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We’ve been together for 10 years, we’ll be celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary in two weeks and our first baby in March after struggling to get pregnant for over three years. He’s still my favorite person 😊

My husband has been super during this process and pregnancy...We had to go through a fertility clinic and while we were waiting for the IUI, he took me to CVS and bought a bunch of snacks and snoopy items because he said it helps with stress lol...since getting pregnant he has really helped out with reminding me of things, my preggo brain has been my enemy and also making sure he carries in groceries and etc

Met my hubby outside a night club for our secondary schools granduation(ireland)😂  now just over 9 years later happily married with a fur baby and a none fur baby on the way. He is the best .. ive had a rough pregnany so far and sufferer of anxiety for many years. He has always supported me and been my rock. I dont know where id be without him.

This is mine. His name is Mason. And he is the best thing that has ever happened to me, besides my baby boy in my belly. On top of work, he’s been so supportive through my pregnancy, he’s so caring and loyal, and I know for a fact he will be an amazing daddy. I don’t know what I would do without him.... & them socks tho 🤣❤️

Mine is one. Given he pisses me off at times. He argues with me about NOT waking him up in the middle of the night (because he works from 4am to 230pm) to help me with the kids. He literally worships the ground I walk on. He cheated on me one time but he’s never done it since. The only issue I have with him is he tells me to ignore his family if they make me cry. Like will never stand up to his mom or brother. He does against his sister & dad though. He knows I’m at risk of being in a wheelchair in about 10 years (I’m being monitored for MS right now) but he still stays with me. He knew I had baggage when we got together & still tries to help me work through it. (he’s actually wanted to beat the shit out of my ex for what my ex did to me).

I’m writing this as my husband is giving me a foot massage. He worked a 10 hour day today and still does things like this for me on a daily basis to show me he cares (and he knows I’m so sore this last month of pregnancy). We’ve only been in 5 or so arguments throughout the course of our entire relationship, he always reassures me when I need it, makes me feel loved constantly, etc. Whenever I was in the dating stage of my life I would ask myself “is this how I want my future daughter to be treated?” and if the answer was no, I would leave. I finally found the person who has never done one thing to make me say “no”. He’s going to be the best dad to our little girl 💕💕

It simple is that woman qith a good man, dont complain, so no one hears about them... my hubby is definitely one of the good ones.. we been together almost 14 yrs, and i been disabled almost 5 yrs... he has always been my rock, and has always been wonderful to me and our kids... no doubt we do on occasion have issues, but they usually end up being so childish, and only from stress, that is pointless to complain, since when u look at the big picture, it doesnt matter...

Lol, I love this.
My husband and I do almost everything together. We hunt, fish, go caving. For our anniversary every year (married for 7 yrs) he makes it his mission to find somewhere to camp that neither of us has been. This past year we camped along the Appalachian trail along the Georgia/North Carolina state lines, and then woke up extra early so he could take me white water rafting/ducking (inflatable kayak) cause I'd never done it before.
I lost my job of 5yrs last year, right when we had decided to start trying and it was heart breaking for me cause I thought we going to have to wait (he was inbetween jobs, working construction until he found something better paying and with benefits). But he said didn't want to wait. Though it's been a long year for us, I worked for a little while and that put a damper on our TTC plans, we've made it through. 
He has actually been encouraging me to start my own craft business, I like to crochet and make jewelry, and I'm thinking about trying to introduce it to the world in January. Heck, speaking of crafty lol, he's making a coffee table for Christmas made out of old refurbished wood and a window from is grandfather's childhood home (his grandfather help him get the wood). I super excited about it.
Throughout our entire relationship (9yrs) we've had so many ups and downs, but we've always pushed through and made things work. I don't know what I'd do without him, there's no one else on this earth I'd rather spend the rest of my life with.
