6 weeks! Is this a bump already?

When do people typically start to show? I’m only 6 weeks, but whenever my dress starts to cling, I’m paranoid people will already guess I’m pregnant 😳

No it’s just bloat :) your baby is like the size of a sprinkle. Just wear some loose fitting clothes. I started showing around 16/17 weeks :)

The baby is extremely tiny but its not bloating unless you’re gassy 🙄 I hate the term bloat. With both my pregnancies I “showed” early. Your uterus is much much bigger than the baby, and it’s pushing your organs up and out. There’s also a hormone called Relaxin that relaxes everything. Some people’s abs muscles are really affected by this hormone so they’ll relax more and then it’ll look like you’re showing because of the organs being pushed out of place and no abs to hold them in. Some people’s abs aren’t really affected by Relaxin as much til a bit later. It just all depends. I’ll tell ya this though, people are real jealous when us “bloat” ladies have a perfect poppin bump that’s REAL in their terms of real wayyyy sooner!

Lol no worries I’m not offended by bloating! I’m just surprised by how intense it is already.
This dress is pretty flowy (I pulled it tight for the pic), but it started clinging around my belly when I walked, so I was like 😳. Probably need thicker fabric like chunky sweaters.

I believe its baby bc I dont rain on parades. Yes baby is small but you still have a little chicken nugget (as my 8yo DD says) in there

If you’re worried maybe switch to a baggy shirt with some leggings or skinny jeans. Either way congrats and your bump is adorable already !
