Is this pathetic?

My 7.5 month old has his first ear infection and has been so sad! I took off work today and after nursing him, I let him fall asleep on me. I’ve been sitting here for over an hour in the dark, watching him sleep and thinking of everything I should be doing around the house... but he’s napping so nicely and seems really comfy so instead I’m just holding him close 🤷🏻‍♀️

hes been so sad and just wants to cuddle and thats what were doing!! dont sweat it!

He is your priority- the house can wait... my house has honestly been horrendous the past few months- but my son comes first- I can tidy at the weekend!

No it’s not... enjoy it! When my 4 year old gets ear infections or is sick he still climbs on my lap and snuggles or lays on the couch with me. The crave your warmth and comfort. My youngest is teething now and he snuggles up like he wants to nurse but doesn’t. So I put the bottle in a weird angle and he snuggles and eats till he falls asleep. I always think oh I have dishes to do but when they are content with snuggles I say f*** it I’ll do it later!
