Signs of labor??

I am 37 weeks and 5 days. Yesterday I went to the doc and I am 3cm dialated and really soft. She said I was so soft that my cervix kept moving and she had to pull it down to check. Anyways, I have been more crampy and of course have BH contractions. But I am now feeling sharper pains on the right side of my groin and sharp pains in my vagina area.. I also feel more pressure.. is this a sign of labor starting??
