Membrane Sweep?

Has anybody gotten a membrane sweep done? I am due Monday, and my husband needs surgery for an accident he had this past weekend. His doctors want to do it Tuesday. Looking to get a membrane sweep done to start the labor train going a bit! Any advise? I'm so stressed and freaking out I dont know what to do.

I had mine done Wednesday on my due date. I was only dilated to a 1 and the process was super uncomfortable. 
I didn’t think it worked until I started having some intense pressure- I ended up with strong contractions at 5, heading into labor & delivery at 7, baby girl was here at 1:35am Thursday morning. 
I was skeptical honestly but after being stuck at a 1 for 4 weeks it’s what my body needed to get things going!

I just had mine today at emergency and I am 39+3.. it was pretty painful and doc said I am 2-3 cm.. he to,d me to come after a day, if I don’t go into labour till then.. he said there are 30% chances of women going into labour after sweep... I am hoping I go into labour. Lets see.. I started a post for membrane sweep because I wanted to know about other girls out here and success stories with membrane sweep.

I’ve had a sweep done twice and 38+3 and 39+3. Tomorrow is my due date and no baby yet. If you are ready it may help but I think babies come when they want. If your husband is getting surgery the next day you may want to hold off in case it does work, I know my sister went into labour the next day after hers.

Got mine done yesterday. You can decide in the moment and say “please only sweep if I’m open enough” otherwise they usually just can’t or it will hurt more. Honestly, it is really uncomfortable. Mine was pretty mega cause I am at 4cm so she really went for it. Pressure and some pain. You will bleed lightly or spot after most likely. Lost my mucus plug today
