tattoo redness

hey ladies, this is my second tattoo on my hip, it’s a little red, this is the 6th day. Is this generally normal? My first tattoo didn’t do this so I’m not quite sure.

Update: I’ve done some thinking and maybe my pants could be irritating. It’s not warm to the touch, or itchy, or hurting. So it’s probably not an infection. I hope I’m right. I’ve been cleaning it and lotioning it so.
