Husband is the decision maker

Have you been in a marriage where you didn't feel like your partners equal? As in, he didn't feel the need to consult you on big or small decisions?

Do you think that's fair,?

For example, money we had set aside for moving abroad has been given his mother because she doesn't want to live with any of her 3 kids but is happy to rent privately for a year using our savings. Granted she gifted this money to my husband, I still feel like that was important to tell me.

He always says " you have the right to be consulted but the ultimate decision would be the same "

Yikes, right?
