Weaning off formula?

Question

My son is going to be 11 months next week. I was curious about weaning because my first 3 are much older and I can't really remember weaning lol. I have heard some Mama's say that they add some regular milk in with the formula. Has any other mom done it like this? No bashing please I'm just curious.

It’s okay to give formula past a year but it can effect baby’s health and development to not get enough formula before a year so I would just wait until baby actually makes a year old.

We went cold turkey the day after her first birthday. She had been stealing her brothers milk cup for awhile at that point so we figured she would be fine. She did great, never looked back!

After her bday I did 3/4 formula/breastmilk, 1/4 milk & just increased the milk amount daily until she was out of formula. Took about 3 days...maybe a few more

We’re gonna try to add regular milk when the time comes. She’s only 9 months old right now so we still have time to wait
