I am supposed to be a starting an LPN program in January which lasts one year. My plan was to do this program and then the transition to RN right after. Welp.. I found out I’m 8 weeks pregnant and now I’m not sure what to do. Regardless I still want to be a nurse. But now my due date is smack dab in the middle of my program. What do I do?? I could finish and hope that I don’t regret missing my newborn to a six month old. This will be my first baby and I have wanted this for so long. My choices are to just do it or are there other routes? It’s very competitive to get into the RN program so idk what to do. Any advice helps! 😬
