Hi Nov17 Mamas !

I’m not concerned concerned but still thought I would ask for your opinions. My 13mo daughter talks gibberish all day long but in terms of words, she only says mama and baba rarely, she had a phase where she was calling us all the time but it’s over. She used to say teeta (grandmother) about 3 months ago but she stopped. She used to say “avo” for bravo but that lasted about a week and stopped, “‘anana” for a banana but it stopped after a week too, same for “baby” and “teddy”.

We speak English at home but when I’m on my own with my daughter we speak French and when she’s with my husband they speak Arabic don’t know if that has to do with anything.

So I guess my questions are ; are your babies saying words yet? And do they sometimes learn a new word and then forget and not say it anymore? Any bi/trilingual families, does it affect language development? 🤯
