Sleeping separately?

When did you transfer your child to his or her own bedroom?

Our son is one month old, sleeping in his bassinet next to our bed. We’re not sleeping much and for my husband who work six days a week at a physically demanding job it’s beyond exhausting.

At the moment my mom is here to help until the end of the month, which means the nursery is her guest bedroom for now.

But as soon as I have the option I am considering transferring our son to his own room.

However I am wondering if two months is too early for him to sleep in a separate room.

So I’m curious to hear what you all did?
