Stealing
So my boyfriend buys me a bag of candy cane chocolate kisses for the holidays. I stick it in my room, under a few things because I know my family will bombard me with “can I have some?” “Stop being so selfish and share for once.” “You’re so rude.” Mkay? One day my mom wants some chocolate, so I take a handful, and give them to her. Few days later she asks “do you have anymore, I want some.” I say no, I gave her the last of what I had (obviously isn’t true). I go to my boyfriend’s house, and when I come home, my mom tells me I’m a horrible liar, because she went into my room and found the bag. I was FURIOUS, because one, I was HIDING THEM, so that mean she went INTO MY ROOM, and started digging into my bed to find the bag. Her excuse was “I was looking for a towel, and saw them sitting out.” No, they were UNDER 2 BLANKETS AND A BAG.
I’m obviously furious because I can’t have anything to myself without then bothering me to get a piece of what I have, or I get knocked down with name calling. My boyfriend bought them for ME. It’s just like when he bought me pepperoni sticks. I put them in the back of the fridge with a note saying “Do not eat”, there were 7-10 in the package. Next day I go to get one, and they’re ALL GONE. I had a BITE of one of the sticks, A BITE. God forbid I have anything to myself. God forbid I want a nice snack food to have without it getting eaten by people who don’t care if its someone else’s.
UPDATE: My mom asked for more and I told her no, and she called me selfish AGAIN. Then my dad overheard and says “if she gets two, then I get two”. Fuck off. “I’m not gonna buy you anything anymore.” You don’t buy me anything in the first place.
