Fighting the boob at night
Guys I’m at My wits end. We’ve had 3 nights of my kid fighting the Boob and each night has gotten progressively worse and longer. First night she was up from 11-130, then 12-3, then 12-415!
So she wakes up looking hungry, showing all the signs, rooting, etc. Then when you try and put her on the boob she arches her back and pushes away. She’ll eventually get a suckle in for 5-10 minutes then pull away and continue to fight the boob-I mean crying, arms failing, head tossing fighting. We go through this cycle during those hours above until she finally is just so tired she passes out. Her ped confirmed she’s got gas, so we’ve got 3 different kinds of drops/meds, we do the bicycle exercises, lay her on her stomach, rub the belly, etc. Sometimes she’ll even burp but still do this fighting the breast thing. I’m exhausted. And feel like crying with her. Any suggestions/advice? She’s 1 month and 2 days old.
