Spitting up bad?

Hey all My LO is 2 weeks old and hes had a bad spitting up problem we swapped his formula to enfamil gentlease and its helped but today hes been spitting up pretty frequent again does anyone else have this problem? And of so what did you do to help it?

Mine was spitting up because the flow of the bottle was too fast. I sit him up to eat, burp in the middle of feeding, wait 15-20 mins before laying him down, he sleeps on a pillow but I watch him like a hawk all the time to Make sure he doesn’t move but the swaddle usually keeps him in place. I watch him to see if he looks peaceful or if his arms are moving around because that usually means they’re stressed by the fast flow, also if I hear loud gulps and no breaks while sucking all means the flow is too fast. I also switched to Dr Browns bottles and doing those things have really solved the spitting up problems, he never spits up anymore and it used to be a lot like it looked like a couple of ounces. Hope this helps you, I know it’s a lot but my son is even sleeping through the night now with his tummy being settled

We saw the doctor last week because our little one is spitting up badly. I'm following all the tips of burping while feeding, keeping her upright after feeding for 45 mins. The only additional tip my pediatrician gave was to fold something like a blanket under her sheet to help with night time spitting up. He said medicine has become controversial and thickening the formula isn't recommend until 4 months. There is no average age of when it will improve, it varies drastically.

My son is having the same problem! Just today he spat up twice, and it was a lot! He has been on gentle ease for about a week now and we are still having troubles😕

My Lo did a lot at first. But the gentlease helps a lot with frequent burping.
