Signs of labor?

Over the past couple days I have been more crampy then normal. I still experience Braxton hicks contractions every day. Could this be a sign labor is coming soon? My water had to be broken with my son, so I have never experienced what is like breaking on it's own.

Following . Im 29.4 and Braxton Hicks have been happening a lot more often. Not painful at all but it’s uncomfortable. Even with more rest and I know I’m hydrated. I’m constantly drinking water. AND I’m having pubic pressure whenever I get up to walk. Makes me nervous

I had crazy contractions for a week before my water broke. They kept telling me it was normal and that my uterus was just irritated. I wasn’t dilated at all. Then one night I was laying in bed on my side and rolled over to my other side and felt a pop and liquid trickled out.  Went to my NST that morning and they didn’t believe me. The doctor checked and sure enough gush of liquid. When I went to the hospital it was only baby As  bag that had sprung a leak. I didn’t start contractions that were consistent till 24hrs after my water broke. In labor after I pushed baby A out they broke baby Bs water. Anyways all that to say I wasn’t dilated no signs (according to doctor) that labor was imminent but boom water broke and babies were born 3 days later. They would’ve been born sooner but they pumped me full of magnesium to stop the contractions because they wanted me to have two doses of the steroid shots. So my water broke at 12:45am on December 3rd and I didn’t deliver till December 6th at 10:43 and 10:53am.
