Fasting number & insulin

my fasting number is always Abit high like 6.0 when it's supposed to be 5.3. now I'm taking insulin at 8 units as of last night and I still woke up and my blood sugar was 5.8!

I'm thinking of uping it to 9 units tonight and seeing if that helps! I'm trying so hard to keep my fasting number low I mean some days it like 5.0 which it will stay like that for 2 days maybe then goes back up! I'm so confused cuz my day time numbers are low or prefect never high unless I eat bread or a crabs. Sorry for the long post I'm so so confused why isn't it going down! For more then a day or two... I'm worried they will induce me early if my fasting number stays high.. even tho my baby is showing no signs of stress due to GD
