Fetal Echocardiogram?

Has anyone had to have a fetal echocardiogram? I have my anatomy scan tomorrow at 18 weeks and they are also doing a fetal echocardiogram to ensure my babies heart is healthy. I am SO nervous and wondering what to expect.

I had one with my last pregnancy and I will with this one at 24 weeks. It’s just an extended ultrasound where they take pictures & videos of the heart!

I did with my first, it was a longer ultrasound. I brought my father along (we got so many ultrasounds that we were allowing different people to come each time) and he asked the doctor a ton of questions. We had a great doctor who answered them all while doing the ultrasound.

I had one with my now 4 year old. I was almost 22 weeks. It took about an hour because the tech wanted to be EXTREMELY thorough. She was able to get a picture of that last chamber that my ultrasound tech at the OBGYN couldn't get. And I got some free 3D prints. ❤

I had 2 with my last pregnancy. Like others have said they are a bit lengthy and focus mainly on the babies heart.
