Too soon?

We have only been trying for 2 months... is it too soon for me to be thinking maybe I can't have a baby? According to this i just ovulated yesterday, but I just can't shake this thought. 🤦‍♀️

Gynos recommend you try for at least 6 months (some a year) before you start seeking help. So i would say to just keep trying.

When I was a child, like seriously at 9/10 years old, I started feeling like children wouldn’t be in my future. I would have dreams of life of sadness without having kids and in my teens after I started having periods this feeling got worse. I had irregular periods, my cramps felt like death when I did have a period, and I had super heavy flows(2 overnight pads every 2hrs all day long). But, in my late teens between 16/18 my periods became a regular monthly thing, still heavy with deadly cramps, but regular. Only 17 days after my 18 birthday I got married we started TTC right away since we both wanted children while we were young and right away in our marriage.  I found out I was pregnant less than 3 months after we got married and my little boy will be 1 this Friday. I do feel like the fear came from somewhere though it sounds crazy. I had a miscarriage 4. months after my oldest birth. It was devastating and I thought there was no way I’d have more children, but I’m currently 23w 4d with another little boy. I say all this to tell you that there is a very real fear of infertility, but to not give up. Some get lucky like I did and end up being able to get pregnant very quickly.(It helps that my husband and I both have very high libidos) But, other it take time and lots of patience I can’t speak for them, but I can say even the short wait for me was very difficult and I understand feeling like it’s impossible, but all of the baby dust to you and I hope you get and stay pregnant soon. ❤️❤️❤️

I would say this, unless you believe you have an underlying issue don’t stress. I personally had no real concerns, however my now fiancé and I have been together a year. Most of that year we have had unprotected and mostly, especially the last 6 months, unpreventing sex. I just thought our timing was off. However I have a close coworker, the RN of our office, who was bound and determined that I may have PCOS and suggested I get it checked out. I hoped for the best, but sadly my case it came back I do via pelvic ultrasound. I am waiting to go for a second opinion but am not losing hope of having children. However my case I have celiac, which can be closely linked with PCOS. I was virtually asymptotic with PCOS, as in the only thing I exhibited was occasional acne. However again it happens. Know your body though. Take your vitamins and enjoy the process.  If you’re concerned discuss it that way you can make a plan to move forward. Know you’re not alone! All the baby dust in the world to you!

Sadly when you are trying it doesn’t happen. It happens when you aren’t trying or by accident. When you aren’t stressed and relaxed like on vacation. The more you stress the less it happens. Honestly if you just have fun and make it no big deal probably a better chance. My sister in law has a very stressful job. Took a year to get pregnant. She was off 2 years and got pregnant again during that time because she wasn’t stressed about it and trying. We had actually stayed there over One of the holidays and were sleeping in their bed and the minute we left and got their bed back, bam pregnant. They weren’t trying she wasn’t stressed from work since she was off for 2 years etc. It just happened on its own. If there isn’t anything physically wrong with either of you. They told my brother it was virtually impossible due to low sperm count and to start in vitro right away with the first. I had had a dream I think it was a Friday that her sister was pregnant for her and I was nursing from my big boobs because he didn’t want her to get fat lol. Out of the blue on Tuesday when they got the call to start invitro she had taken a test on a whim, put it down and thought nothing of it. Got off the phone with them, she went to check it and sure enough they were already pregnant. Aunties dream was right about a baby.  Miracles happen when you least expect it. Just be patient. If it happens yay if not you have other options from invitro to surrogate or adoption. I had a friend her eggs were too old. They used someone else’s egg and his sperm she looks exactly like her father and that child is hers even if the egg wasn’t  it makes it no less her child. You have options. Stop stressing the process and it will happen.
