Mucus plug?

Hey ladies! So I think I’m loosing small pieces of my mucus plus but it’s a very light green color. It’s the snotty texture and all that they talk about though. Have any of you had the same thing? I just want to make sure the color isn’t weird. I do have an appointment Wednesday I’ll ask as well.

My dr told me it may be bloody or it may look like snot.

Completely normal to be green or white like thick snot that's stringey. 3rd pregnancy here and been loosing mine since 27weeks and it's like snot that's green coloured and has been for all 3 of my babies. Nothing to be concerned about unless it's got a strange smell to it or has blood in which could be the start of your bloody show. People often get confused and think they are the same thing which they are not. Normally tend to loose your bloody show right before Labour or during. It's the membranes that have stripped away hence the blood. Mucus plug is what plugs the cervix keeping out nasty infection ect.

It should be clear/white/bloody/Brown. I’d tell the doctor about it

Mine is yellow/green. They ran a swab for BV just to be sure. It was negative so it’s just my mucus plug. I’ve been losing pieces since 27 weeks
