Postpartum essentials?

Mamas who’ve given birth before! What were some things you found essential postpartum (giant lady diapers, cooling pads, snacks, clothing, anything!). I’m looking to stock up on some things before baby arrives and would love a few recommendations!

Night time max pads the long ones, wear them backwards so the longer part goes up front has worked best for me. Or double tack them too so full coverage, underwear that are a little loose but not falling off, if you're breast feeding then gel cool packs, scented diaper poop bags to put your lochia/bloody pads tied up in, heated grain sack for the postpartum cramps/contractions, extra water bottles or bottles of water because you will feel like you're dying of thirst but forget to drink, tucks hemorrhoids pads are great for dabbing on the stitches if you tear, also just refreshing for use after you use the bathroom and all its bloody gore. Hand sanitizer for people who want to hold the baby. If you breastfeed  you don't need to clean the pump parts after each feed, store the flanges etc. In a ziplock bag in the fridge and wash, sterilize at the end of the day ( non-scented dish soap) they also make soap specifically for pumps because breastmilk is very greasy. Hmmm...let's see cabbage if you don't want to breastfeed and you want to dry up, also peppermint tea. Snacks, string cheese, yogurt (drinkable), hard boiled egg, granola bars, protein bars, nuts, carrot sticks, celery, peppers, dried fruit or fresh, anything of preference really one handed food typically work best. Lol, that's all I can really think of at this moment.

Lots of nursing bras, disposable adult diapers (no ruined underwear), healthy milk producing snacks, I barely had time to eat or drink with my newborn and all anyone brought over was carb heavy heavy meals (not great for those first post partum poops 💩), and stool softener!

Plenty of comfortable clothes because the baby will spit up frequently and you may want to change often! A pumping bra if you plan on pumping at all so that you can do both sides at once.
