Talking??

Are any of your 18 month olds or close to be talking yet??

I'm so discouraged because my son isn't. So in 2 months if he still isnt talking like he should be we will have to do speech therapy. It just kinda sucks because he does talk sometimes. He says mama, dada, and hi. And one night he even said "hi daddy" but he doesnt talk every day or really have any interest in talking. We read to him, we narrate everything to him, we tell him say this or that and will repeat is several times while showing him but nothing. He just doesnt seem to care. He was a very advanced child when it came to everything else so the pediatrician did say that could be why. But it's just a little frustrating. I'm hoping in two months he will get better at it but guess we will see.
