So my “friend”, she accused me of spilling out her secrets, asked me for 450$ in June 2018 and I lent it to her because I felt bad for her, unfortunately she has not paid me back. I don’t ask her about it because it’s an awkward conversation starter, but she has reassured me once that she is sorry for not paying me back yet. She asked me last week to borrow money for a hotel so she could rekindle with her off and on relationship, I told her no because I didn’t want to enable her unhealthy relationship and that she shouldn’t waste money on an unhealthy relationship. She gave me the cold shoulder, “are you going to help me or not”, then made a post about it saying how she’s only grateful for another friend listening to her drama. Come today, she asked me again if I could lend her 200$ to help her pay her car because she only gets paid once a month. I don’t know how to tell her no. Im not trying to be greedy. But to me that is a lot of money she has already borrowed from me, I have my responsibilities as well, I just don’t know how to relay it appropriately. Am I a bad friend for not wanting to lend my friend money?
