Is only a condom enough to avoid pregnancy?

Hi guys is it safe to rely on the condom as the only birth control method?

I wouldn’t because like condoms can rip  or slip off, but if he knows what condoms work best for him and fit him right, I guess it’s alright. But it’s still not wise. It’s just not worth the anxiety to me. I wouldn’t and didn’t have sex (consensual) until I put myself on birth control because I was raped before ever ever kissing a guy I liked.  I woke up the next day to see an opened, but not used condom on the floor and got a blood pregnancy test done and plan b and tested for STDs and everything right after because I was absolutely terrified and from then on, I decided even if I wasn’t planning on having sex soon that I wanted to be protected from any situation like that if it happened again. Idk like I know that’s all tmi and people always say “that won’t happen to me”, but that’s what I thought too and then it did, multiple times. Sex is a serious thing, so if you’re going to make the choice to do it, be safe and responsible about it. Don’t just do what is cheapest or what you think will be easiest or whatever. If you can’t be fully protected or responsible, then don’t have sex. 🤷‍♀️
