Enlarged kidneys?

I’m 33w1d and have been told my little one continues to have enlarged kidneys on my ultrasound. Dr doesn’t seem to concerned and hadn’t been since this was first found on my 20week scan. I have another us in 4 weeks. Anyone else going through this??

Usually the kidney swelling goes down after birth. They will just keep an eye on it to make sure there’s no extra swelling or other issues

I’ve had the same since week 18, I’m 33 weeks + now and everything is better and seems normal, the bladder is no longer enlarged but the kidneys have worked very hard due to the partial blocage. 
This thing happens unfortunately, but they usually go back to normal at birth! I pray that your baby improves in the upcoming weeks 🙏🏾💕

Hi, I am 29 weeks and they found the kidneys, ureters and bladder to be enlarged at my 20 week scan. My fluid has been up and down so they think he has a partial blockage in the bladder. I have another scan in a few weeks to see how things have progressed but we have no idea what the outcome will be. 
Keep positive and make sure you write down questions you want answered for your next appointment. Stay off google too, you will just worry yourself silly. Every case is different.
