Who is the stricter parent? Stories with examples are welcomed 😃

I definitely am.  I’m a SAHM so I don’t put up with nearly as much crap lol.  My husband works a lot so when he does see kiddo it’s spoil city.

I'm wayyyyy stricter than my husband. For example: we have a drawer designated for our daughter with her spoons, forks, etc...and sometimes she will take it all out and throw it. I will sit there with her and make her pick it all up no matter how long it takes, crying and all, but my husband would "help her" and do it all for her. When she wines because I won't give her something I just ignore her fake cries, that literally don't even have tears. My husband would give her what she wanted. Crying, unless it's a hurt cry, doesn't phase me at all. I don't even hear it.

I’m more strict with following the rules. A lot of it comes from me helping raise my sisters and he has no experience raising kids at all, he thinks our son needs a “friend” instead of a parent a lot of the time. It’s no coincidence that our toddler still hits and kicks him but long quit doing it to me. But I’m also more calm. Kid’s been to the ER and urgent care a couple times already and I’m super calm about it but my husband is ready to have a heart attack. He worries a lot about milestones and what he plays with outside and stuff, and I’m a lot more chill about that.

We have our first one on the way but I think I will be the stricter and more structured parent- my hubby is no pushover but he is more laid back.

It's honestly a mix. I feel like I tend to disciplines more when we are in public. Whereas my husband tends to when we are home. I am home during the day with our children and may have to correct our son's behavior once or twice. My husband is home during the evening and says he has to correct our son's behavior often. So I'm assuming I'm stricter. That or our son just likes me better. 😂

My husband is more strict. I was an outdoor kid growing up and my husband was an indoor gamer. I basically let my child eat off the floor or play in dirt and be free. A lot of it makes my husband cringe, so when hes watching him my son isnt allowed to do the same stuff. 😂

my son is 8 months so not to strict yet. but I know I will be! my husband is so quiet and awkward with everything he does 😆 I'm a nanny/daycare teacher so I definitely already know what I'm doing and not afraid to use my teacher voice. 
I was at my nanny job one day and I had to use my voice and the dad happened to be home, he turned around and told me he almost went over and started cleaning up because he didn't want to mess with me.

It's super dependent when we are home it is definitely me. When we are out and about it is typically my wife.

not a mom yet (june 2019!) but i already know it’s going to be me. when you have to ask your husband the same things you know you’ll have to teach your kid to do.. yeah it’s me!
