Updated..Did she sweep my membranes?! 😳

Sa

I had an appointment today & I switched midwives cause I couldn’t stand the other one & this one was a sweetheart & she actually listened to me & my concerns about not having another big baby (last was 10.6lbs) anyways..I asked her if she could possibly strip my membranes if need be because my body tends to hold onto babies and I can’t remember what she said because she worded it odd but basically she typically wouldn’t because it’s considered induction but she could ā€œaccidentallyā€ do it that’s not the word she used but she was basically saying she’d do it but it sounded like she said she’d do it while checking for dilation..

Well she goes to check me & she’s REALLY rough like it hurt and it took her about a min and a half it seemed and I was looking up at the ceiling like wow this is uncomfortable! She told me I was 1cm dilated, the last midwife who checked me took all of 10secs & it didn’t hurt at all...do you think she went ahead and stripped them for me? When your dr checks you is it usually uncomfortable? I felt like she was elbow deep and her hand was moving back and forth it seemed.. thanks ladies!

Update: I’m BLEEDING! Does that mean she definitely did? Or can bleeding occur after getting your cervix checked? Here’s a pic sorry if it’s TMI
