I'm having trouble with picking a name because I've never wanted a Jr. in my family but my husband really wants one. Moses is my favorite bible character and I just love how it goes with our last name (Mortensen)...Please help a girl out😄❤

What about Moses Dustin? That way your husbands name is included but not a junior, as a middle name.

Moses is an awesome name! 
I really dislike the junior thing, too. He's not a clone of his dad, and he shouldn't have to live in dad's shadow, either. I think a new human deserves his own name. Especially if it's a cool one like Moses!

I would go with Moses or I’d name him Dustin but call him Eric. My brother is a jr (every first male in my family are jr’s) and honestly, they all hate being named after their fathers and they’ve expressed how they’ve wanted their own name. The ones that do have middle names go by their middle names. But that’s just what I’ve noticed!!

My husband last name is Moses and everyone calls him Moses instead of his first name. Me personally I don’t like when there’s a first name and last name that are clearly first names. He wanted to name his first son after him and I said no 😂 then he processed to say ok what about “Moses Moses” 🤦🏾‍♀️ boy no! His close friend name is Jeffery Jefferson 🤦🏾‍♀️ ugh lawrdttt 😂 so we finally agreed on a name it just starts with an M and will end in an M since my husband first middle and last initial is an M (help me Jesus) 😂
