I am half African American and half Caucasian. I was raised by my Caucasian side of the family, and they never knew what to do with my hair, so my hair is a hot mess. I want to learn to take care of it. They would have me use their shampoo/conditioner, and it is damaging my curls. My hair is so dry and matted after every use of their shampoo and conditioner. I'm considering cutting most of my hair off and starting over.
