Woke up vomiting 🤮 , can I still fly???

I’m supposed to be flying out to Hawaii today but the stomach flu has been going around my house and in laws. i woke up puking this morning ..... I don’t want to get people sick or be vomiting 🤮 on the plane.... ticket is no refundable and nonexchangeable....  what are my options ?

Call the airline. Do not get on that plane.

Call the airline, go to the dr and get a note. Most airlines will work with you if you have a dr note, rescheduling or voucher etc. You (and airline) don’t want to expose hundreds of passengers to a stomach virus.

Ohh please don't  expose dozens of people to whatever you have. Call the airline and work something out, I'm sure they'd appreciate you not bringing that on their plane.

UPDATE: I contacted the airline and cancelled my reservation, the ticket is good for a year but when I rebook I will pay a fine of $125. Also the seat upgrade to premium wasn’t refunded 😔 oh well. I’ve been at home in bed all day....  this headache, body aches, fever etc is no fun. Thank you to everyone who responded 👍🏻

Sounds trrrible to be stuck on a plane with the flu! I’d call the airline. They won’t refund your money but most of the time they will give you a credit for future travel. Especially if you are really sweet to them on the phone.
