Foley Balloon

Has anyone used the balloon method to be induced? I had my membrane stripped yesterday and since then my contractions have been 6 to 10 mins apart lasting almost a minute long. Going to do some Christmas shopping & then possibly go to L&D to see if I've progressed any.
