Clomid

Looking for some advice! I started my first round of clomid last month and then got my period :( I went in to my doctor's office to have an ultrasound before starting my next round of clomid, and they found what appears to be a blood clot or a polyp. She said it is completely up to me, nothing to be worried about at this point. Best case, I get preggos! Worse case, i get my period and then have to get the procedure done and wait a cycle to try again. I'm now torn on whether to continue with this round of clomid and try again or have my doctor go in surgically to see/remove whatever this is. I hate making decisions and I have to make one today because I'm on cycle day 5 already!! 🤔😖TIA!! 😊
