Wish me luck everyone. I had a normal check up today at 39 weeks and 5 days. My blood pressure was high so they sent me to the hospital. They told me I wasnt going home without a baby. For anyone curious I have had no symptoms leading to.labor yet whatsoever. I have to be induced tonight, which was not what we wanted, but as long as my baby is safe! I havent even been checked for dilation yet so as soon as a bed empties out and I get to labor and delivery they will check me and I can update on that.

Update: I was 2 cm dilated and 50 percent effaced with a station of -4 when I was admitted with no labor symptoms. I'm trying to stick with natural birth and used a foley balloon to dilate me to 4 or 5 cm. So far I'm almost there and have not used medication yet. Anyone considering this, it hurts at first but after 15 or so minutes it gets better. We will see where we are with medication after this balloon comes out.

My big boy. Born vaginally, not by doctors choice, had plenty of unexpected complications. Labored for over 35 hours. He came out stunned and shocked us all and it was scary. But hes perfectly healthy scoring a 9 out of 10 after his first score of only a 2.
