BCP and TTC

So last year I went on the BCP, due to having an ovarian cyst that sent me to the hospital as the general practitioner I saw told me I was having an appendicitis?!?!well, thankfully it was just one singular (extremely painful) cyst. However my OBGYN told me to take BCP to be safe and the first pill was awful. I was sick for three months, but I was told to stick it out till the end of the third month before switching. Well I finally switched and this one went over well until after the three month mark. Two months ago my fiancé and I decided to start trying and when I came off the pill I had a normal withdrawal bleed, then waited seven weeks to get my real period. So this was month two of TTC and I have been all sorts of out of wack since going off the pill. I mean all sorts of wonky stuff.

I thought I would never go back to normal, but to end on a good note. My period was right on schedule this month ( even though we wanted a BFP) I’m grateful that I can at least be comforted by the fact my regular periods are back.

Anyone else TTC after taking BCP???
