Did sex Induce you ?

I’m 38 weeks 5 days and midwife has told to try start labour myself by doing squats, eating spicy food, use birth ball, walking 
But I heard SEX can help.
If you tried anything to induce labour what was it ? Also does having sex this far along hurt ? I’ve not really been into any of that.
I am walking everywhere now and doing squats everyday.

Sex can help because of the prostaglandins in the semen. Evening primrose oil has similar ones so you could also try inserting those to see if they help. Nipple stimulation can also work, but I hear that’s more effective if you start when you have early contractions. Good luck! I’m about to start trying everything I can too.

lol I was deff reading that wrong glad I re read that Bc i could have swore it said ou were 35 weeks lol && I was like 😳... but walking and sex did it for me with my oldest. My second i didn't need help I had her at 35 weeks
