Pack n play mattress?

Question

Does anyone have their babies sleeping in a pack n play? Instead of getting another crib we are just using a pack n play and I recently learned they have mattresses for them. I need a little direction on which mattress to go with. I would like it to be safe and soft enough to sleep well.

My daughter sleeps in her pack and play. It is recommended that their mattress be firm because according to her pediatrician if the mattress is too soft...if she rolls over her head could sink in and she wouldn’t be able to pull herself up.

I read the label on it at babies r us the other day and it said the napper was not suitable for sleeping after 3 months? I thought that seemed a little early
