traumatic births?

did anyone have a traumatic birth experience and want to share? Im 5 weeks pp and still trying to get over my emergency c section, i keep replaying it in my head and asking myself the what ifs.

Omg ME TOO! Sometimes I find myself questioning if the doctors made the right call, or if there was something I could have done differently to be able to have him naturally. You’re not alone, but we just have to remind ourselves that our baby’s are healthy and so are we 💕

I had a failed induction that made me had contractions 30 sec to 2 min apart for 50 hours straight with no sleep. Then had a c section.

Not traumatic, but more like I think I received an unnecessary episiotomy that caused me immense amount of pain the first 10 days. I am upset about it and there is really not much to be done after the fact. I am just trying not to dwell on it too much. Birth can be an amazing and special experience even if it doesn’t go as you hoped or planned.

🙋🏾‍♀️I had 15 hours of induced labor after my water broke. And, then had to have an emergency c-section due to a fibroid that grew the size of a baseball during pregnancy. They were monitoring my fibroids all pregnancy, but it was behind my placenta so they said they didn’t see it. The whole thing was very traumatic. This was 2.5 weeks ago and I cry when I think about it. I also got admitted back to the hospital for 3 days with preeclamsia. I didn’t know you could develop it after delivering. It was horrible to be away from my daughter that was the most traumatizing part. But, I’d do it all over again and still want to have another child.

Yep I had a somewhat traumatic emergency c-section too. From the start of my contractions to the birth of my son was 3 hours and 48 minutes. It all happened so fast. It felt like an out of body experience.
I went from 4cm to 8cm in an hour with no pain relief... My body was on overdrive but my boy was still really high. They broke my water and found meconium so they attached the internal fetal monitor. Baby boy was stressed and going downhill so they rushed me into surgery. They were in such a hurry that they couldn’t take inventory of their instruments before surgery so they had to do an X-ray of me before they could stitch me up 🤦‍♀️ AND my husband wasn’t allowed in the operating room until after my son was out...so I was in there without any support person. I vomited during the whole procedure and lost a ton of blood. It left me feeling so weak and inadequate.

Mine was horrible. After having a seizure while in labor when my poopy water broke, to my placenta not detaching, then hemorrhaging and them jamming needles in my legs and some metal clamp with gauze inside my uterus... my hemoglobin was at a 7 32 hrs later. They should have given me a blood transfusion and didn’t. :-( I still don’t know much about it all
